Magnetic nodal semimetals (A04)

Subject Area Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
Term since 2015
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 247310070

Project Description

Topological semimetals exhibit unconventional physical properties. This theory project aims at a deeper understanding of magnetic semimetals with nodal (Weyl) points, lines, and planes. Specifically, it addresses the symmetry-based classification of semimetals, transport of charge and energy, magnetic frustration and order, interactions and instabilities in semimetals, as well as relativistic analogies.
