Integration of piezo modules in rear axle components of passenger cars for active vibration control and reduction of gear noise (T01)

Aim of the transfer project is a specific active vibration control of rear axle components of passenger cars by means of piezoceramic actuator modules. The piezoceramic modules are to be integrated in the parts during the production process based on the technology of piezo metal compounds developed in the subprojects B01/B02. Starting from a detailed vibro-acoustic analysis the technological possibilities are to be adjusted to the demands on actuator performance.
