Integrated research training group (MGK)

The integrated research training group (IRTG) established during the first funding period, which has been successfully continued during the second funding period, will be prolonged during the third funding period. It provides a joint structured graduate education in the area of Computational Materials Science for all students in the TRR. The goals of the IRTG are threefold: (i) to provide students with the interdisciplinary background required for successful research in the TRR, (ii) to ensure common standards in education, and (iii) to establish and strengthen links in the TRR at the level of the junior researchers.
