Project Description

Currently we are able to prepare hierarchically structured microsieves by combining float-casting (to produce membranes with fine pores) and ink-jet printing (to add a mechanically stable supporting structure) on a solid support in small areas.Goal of the project is to print directly onto microsieves still floating on a water surface and to increase the printed region to areas up to 200 cm².
