This proposal represents the application for coordinative and central funds for the first funding period of the DFG Priority Program SPP 1710 Dynamics of Thiol-Based Redox Switches in Cellular Physiology.We here apply for measures to support coordination and joint activities of the network as well as for the acquisition of a plasmon resonance instrument (Biacore T200) as central methodological platform. The joint activities of the consortium aim to foster interdisciplinarity, the early integration of graduate assistants, project-specific summer schools and workshops, and public relations. Furthermore start-up funding for excellent early career researchers and the support of gender equality measures are applied for.
