There are new synthetic routes for the highly unstable selenium Irane and Thiirene from Seleniranium and Thiireniumsalzen designed. The uncharged three-membered compounds to be produced by cleavage of Me3SiCH2CH2- or tBuMe2SiCH2CH2 protecting group on the Se or S atom of the three-membered Seleniranium or Thiirenium salts. For steric protection of the unstable target molecules the syntheses with bulky substituted olefins or acetylenes are done. New compounds are characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray structural analysis.
