The work within the second funding period concentrates on the desing and set-up of a mobile exhibition, the “Contact Zone”. The exhibition concept aims at a direct reference to the living environment of the general public by putting the production processes of the CRC/TRR 136 in a context of everyday life. A modular exhibition is to be designed, which consists of three parts: hands-on demonstrators, virtual demonstrators and an augmented reality environment. As from 2020, the mobile exhibition is supposed to be presented at different locations in Bremen and Aachen and shall be developed into a nationwide exhibition after an evaluation process.
