Spectral Algebraic Geometry (B01)

Project Description

Project B01 works at the intersection between arithmetic geometry and homotopy theory. Major achievements so far have been significant contributions to the red-shift conjecture of Ausoni-Rognes in algebraic K-theory and progress in equivariant stable homotopy theory, for example, equivariant generalizations of the thick subcategory theorem of Deviantz-Hopkins. In the third funding period, we plan to generalize certain of the equivariant results to the motivic context, and to use recent results of Lurie to construct interesting ring spectra.
