Project Description

A1 investigates biomass-pyrolysis reactions, heterogeneous char conversion and develops detailed kinetic models. Model development and experimental results contribute to the comprehensive data of the CRC/TRR 129. For this, in A1, fluidised bed reactors (atmospheric and pressurised), coupled with an ex-situ FTIR gas analysis are used. In FP3, A1 will focus on the further development of the CPD model, including effects of interactions between lignocellulosic compounds (A2), intra-particle transport (A6) and catalytic effects (A5). The implementation in CPD and CRECK-S-B (A8) models guarantees the transfer of A1 results into the worldwide community and the OxySim-129 framework.
