Physical Geography
Term since 2013
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 215859406

Project Description

The project investigates the essential resources of the northern border or neighbouring regions of Mesopotamia in a diachronic approach. For the third funding period of the SFB, the relations between the resources will be modelled and visually represented by a series of spatial analyses. For this purpose, different methodological tools will be used one after the other and building on each other: Water modelling, soil modelling, path modelling, settlement modelling, landscape modelling and finally the modelling of ResourceCultures.
