The project focuses on long-term developments of ResourceCultures in the south of the Iberian Peninsula. In the first phase, resources and ResourceComplexes of the Chalcolithic in the coastal area, which is favourable for settlement, and in the dry inland area were compared. The second phase focused on Bronze Age and modern forms of use of different landscape types in the Guadalquivir Valley and the neighbouring Sierra Morena, which were understood as resource structures and were investigated from an archaeological and ethnological perspective. In the third phase, in accordance with the overall concept of the SFB, ResourceCultures that met and influenced each other at certain times in this region will now be investigated.
