The role of the hippocampal CA3 network in integration of spatial and non-spatial information (C04)

Project C04 will examine the function of axonal long-range connectivity in the hippocampal CA3 system. Specifically, the project will study how aversive and spatial information is processed and integrated in the ventral and dorsal CA3 region, and how longitudinal projections of CA3 neurons contribute to this process.
