Subproject B3 investigates transitions in wireless communication systems at the edge of the Internet from an economic per-spective under the assumption of autonomously acting nodes. In phase II, the decentralized analysis and planning of proac-tive transitions based on game theory and Machine Learning were extended by incorporating environmental conditions and empirically determined user preferences. In phase III, the preferences of all players - users, infrastructure providers and ser-vice providers - will be investigated by means of large-scale user studies and expert interviews, from which additional boundary conditions for autonomous transition decisions and incentive mechanisms will be derived. In addition, novel game theoretical methods for applications with crucial requirements and decisions under uncertainty will be researched.
