Subproject B1 investigates network monitoring and the analysis of the collected data to provide the necessary data for transi-tions to multi-mechanisms. For that purpose, the Monitoring-as-a-Service concept was developed in phase II, in which the col-lected monitoring data are determined by the requirements of the multi-mechanisms to reduce the network load induced by the monitoring mechanisms. The collected data has been of varying accuracy due to the dynamicity of the network and the restrictions in network load. In phase III, this accuracy is intentionally adjusted to match the (crucial) requirements of the multi-mechanisms. This adjustement leads to further reductions in network load and while guaranteeing the expressiveness of the provided data.
