Project Description

A1 investigates the automated construction of communication topology multi-mechanisms. These multi-mechanisms sup-port topology control (TC) and topology mapping (TM) tasks and consider crucial integrity constraints and optimization goals. For this purpose, we develop and combine four different approaches in new ways. We extend the integration of (1) graph transformations and (2) mathematical optimization methods for reactive deterministic reconfiguration algorithms with proactive and probabilistic elements and study their potential to develop cooperation mechanisms for TC and TM (multi-)mechanisms. In addition, we study the automated construction of scalable (3) Local Algorithms, which rely on (4) Machine Learning, and integrate them with the aforementioned approaches.
