Project Details
Development of novel reactive lamination processes for the production of functionalized and structured multilayer foils for optical applications (B06)
Subject Area
Microsystems
Term
from 2013 to 2017
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 210420491
The goal of project B06 is the development of a novel reactive lamination process which allows joining two incompatible foils via photochemical or thermal gluing. This combination is realized via C, H insertion reactions which take place across the foil interfaces. During the second funding period we plan to further develop photochemical crosslinkers and new thermally-active moieties. We will combine the lamination with thermoforming processes and adapt all methods towards roll-to-roll processes.
