The Integrated Research Training Group (Z1) offers a structured training program consisting of specific scientific modules on different topics of obesity, interdisciplinary workshops on necessary technologies, and a broad spectrum of soft skills courses for the doctoral researchers. The program also includes a wide range of activities that promote interdisciplinary cooperation and networking among the early career scientists. In particular, the unique learning and research environment of the Collaborative Research Center 1052 fosters the PhD researchers as well as medical doctoral candidates in their scientific and personal development to become independent and professional scientists in obesity research.
