With Bernhard von Waging (about 1400-1475), from 1452-1464 Prior of the Benedictine Abbey of Tegernsee, one of those men gets historically palpable, who played important roles in negotiating the different transformational processes of the late medieval society. Bernhard's work covers all genres (treatises, letters, sermons) that where used in the philosophical and theological literature of the late Middle Ages to communicate interpretative and convincing framework. As Bernhard's texts can be traced back dependably, they build basis for the reconstruction of person's networks as well as for strategies of popularization. Because of these texts late medieval monasteries were established as places of education and learning. These texts reflect a communicative network within ecclesiastical, monastic and cultural reform process during 15th century.
