MR-fingerprinting of the abdomen (R01)

Subject Area Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy, Radiobiology
Term from 2012 to 2017
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 211469636

Project Description

The aim of this project is to provide a large number of MRI-based contrasts for knowledge base and CoSA. Besides further diffusion-based contrasts, on which the focus had been laid in the first phase of the SFB, a large ensemble of non-diffusion-based contrasts shall be generated (e.g. T1, T2, Delta B0, etc.). To this end, the application of the new technique MR-Fingerprinting is planned, which can be used to acquire these parameters in a fast and intrinsically registrated manner. 200 patients shall be measured (with diffuse damage of liver parenchyma, liver and pancreas lesions).
