Knowledge-Based Segmentation (I02)

Subject Area Image and Language Processing, Computer Graphics and Visualisation, Human Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous and Wearable Computing
Term from 2012 to 2017
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 211469636

Project Description

The goal of this project is a knowledge-based system for the automatic anatomical segmentation of large-scale, heterogeneous image data. The system should be able to provide robust and accurate results for a variety of use cases and image modalities. The methods should be able to handle heterogeneous or small amounts of training data. The methodological basis for the achievement of the desired objectives will be a combination of knowledge-based methods, active learning, semi-supervised learning and deep learning.
