This project deals with the finite volume effects inherent to any lattice formulation. After much progress concerning two- and three-particle systems and coupled-channel effects in the first two funding periods, it aims to achieve two main goals: 1) to complete a formulation of the formalism for the analysis of lattice data in the three-particle sector, and 2) to carry out a systematic study of the external field technique, used on the lattice for the extraction of various transition amplitudes.
