This research project focuses on the further enhancement of the microeconomic assessment ap-proaches developed within the 1st FP. Therefore, the core research topics are: the alignment of the different maturity levels for the three sustainability dimensions, the development of conceptual im-pact models for all the three dimensions (so far impact models only exist for the environmental dimension), and the inclusion of weighting factors and region-specific indicators to better address existing trade-offs and to enable a holistic assessment covering different stakeholder perspectives.
