The Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG) provides a comprehensive study programme to the graduate students that promotes key qualifications and the acquisition of additional skills. The main instrument to achieve this goal is the annual summer school which is organised by the students independently. Moreover, a range of courses is offered which enhance the scientific competence of the graduate students as well as their capability to work in an interdisci¬plinary environment.
