Frames in psychiatric classification (B06+)

Subject Area Practical Philosophy
Term from 2011 to 2015
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 192776181

Project Description

Project B06 is concerned with an application of frames in science, specifically in psychiatry. It develops frame analyses of mental disorders. The particular focus of the second funding period is on the representation of more complex disorders such as schizophrenia that require the representation of continuous variables as values. In addition, the project aims at advancing the frame-based analysis and representations of mental disorders by taking a broader range of attributes and values into account. To this end, the frame analyses will be expanded to brain disorders with a clearly defined pathophysiology such as Parkinson's disease or epilepsy.
