High-accuracy thermo-elastic simulation on massively parallel computers (A07)

Subject Area Mathematics
Term from 2011 to 2019
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 174223256

Project Description

The second phase deals with the assembly of several assemblies to one tool machine. This leads to the new mathematical challenges:- thermo-mechanical simulation of several moving tool sets- Development of efficient and stable coupling strategies for those simulations on high performance computers- Development and application of parallel time integrators to resolve the long process cycles (process cycles /times)- parallel computational fluid dynamics in complex geometries
DFG Programme CRC/Transregios
