The project aims to model syntactic microvariation both under an areal and diachronc perspective. Data are gained throughout the alemannic speaking area to get a broad database which allows detailed analysis of phenomena and development of a theory about microvariation and syntactic language change. The results will be open to the public via a web based tool, delivering maps and numerical results.
