Term
from 2011 to 2018
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 15232683
We developed the Terrestrial Systems Modeling Platform (TerrSysMP) and integrated advances from the science projects in model parameterizations for atmospheric downscaling (C4), new plant functional types (B5, C3), root water uptake (B4), carbon cycle (C4, D3) and data assimilation (C6). We will continue model upgrading and maintenance in collaboration with the science clusters, implement new features (TerrSysMP-LES and TerrSysMP-DART), develop a multi-year reanalysis data, conduct TerrSysMP tutorials and co-ordinate with stakeholders to establish a developer/user community for a sustainable development, maintenance and dissemination of TerrSysMP.
