The project should address entanglement generation and distribution among diamond defects in spatially separated host. The project aims at entangling diamond defects in a stationary substrate and a moveable stylus carrying a NV spin. The demonstration should use extended low temperature relaxations times such that multiple defects can be entangled in a "drag and drop" style technique. Robust entanglement storage in nuclear spins should be demonstrated. The initial step comprises demonstration of entanglement between two spins one of which is stationary. ln a subsequent demonstration entanglement transfer between remote defects should be shown.
