Data Mining on Sensor Data of Automated Processes (B03)

Subject Area Image and Language Processing, Computer Graphics and Visualisation, Human Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous and Wearable Computing
Production Automation and Assembly Technology
Term from 2011 to 2022
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 124020371

Project Description

Quality prediction on products reduces production costs caused by internal failure costs in case of realtime operation. Such a prediction is based on sensor data achieved at different process stations. Especially in interlinked processes the decision and resulting choice of actions frequently have to be determined within a few seconds. Subproject B3 is focused on the investigation of how distributed data mining can be used for realtime quality predictions and how it can be integrated into production processes.
