Project Details
Cytotoxic T lymphocyte function in vitro and in vivo (A10)
Subject Area
Molecular Biology and Physiology of Neurons and Glial Cells
Term
from 2011 to 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 157660137
We could show that endocytosis of cytotoxic granules contributes significantly to the killing capacity of cytotoxic T lymphocytes. With the help of lipid bilayer TIRF microscopy we will continue to investigate the molecular mechanism of endocytosis, including the Ca2+ and lipid dependence, on the single granule level. Furthermore, we will study T cell function in an in vivo model, the anterior chamber of the eye.
