Two spin and magnetism related phenomena in oxide based hybrid and heterostructures are under investigation. One main topic is spin pumping with an emphasis on spin pumping into or through complex oxides. The other main topic is tunneling anisotropic magnetoresistance (TAMR) in structures with a magnetic oxide electrode and an epitaxial oxide tunnel barrier. Based on recent results we want to focus especially on the interplay of TAMR and ferroelectric tunnel barriers.
