B01 focuses in phase 3 of the SFB-TR 87 on continuing the investigations on the scalability of the plasma processes from project area B, their transferability to new applications, materials and more complex substrate geometries as well as system properties and behavior in stress collectives. Two novel analytical methods extend the spectrum systematic controllable adjustments of coating system properties like inner stresses oft he coatings. Plastics with high permeability serve as substrates to deposit coatings with defined separation properties that can be used as membranes.
