Properties of hydrogen in ZnO

The project aims at the investigation of hydrogen properties in ZnO by means of Fourier transform infrared absorption. Raman scattering, photoluminescence and photoconductivity. Our main interests are complexes formed by hydrogen with native defects (vacancies and interstitial) and impurities (shallow dopants and transition metals) as well as hydrogen-related shallow donors. Specifically, the microscopic structure, thermal stability of hydrogen-related defects, and their influence of the electrical properties of crystralline ZnO will be addressed.
