In TP M7 the established drug delivery systems (DDS) are further improved in cooperation with M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M9 concerning functionalization modalities of bone substituting materials (BSM) and in cooperation with B1, B5, B7, B13, B14 concerning novel biological tasks. In the chemical and analytical working package AP1 chemically reactive and thermoresponsive polymer units for switchable and multimodal drug release as well as biological ligands, antibodies and RNA for further specific interactions are integrated. In the biological working package AP2 the interaction of the BSM functionalized with optimized DDS with cell cultures and animal models is studied.
