The project Z is dedicated to all administrative duties of the research unit and its representation towards the participating and external institutions. The project Z takes care of the central major investments, namely an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) laser system and a computer cluster. Further tasks involve the management of all internal organisational issues and the administration of the central budget that is not a priori allocated to individual research projects.
