A robot-supported, laser tracker positioned multi-scale measurement system is developed in the sub-project for the diagnosis of the state of operationally-stressed capital goods. The multi-scale measurement ap-proach will be investigated based on a combination of optical measurement systems with different meas-urement resolutions, volumes and accuracies, as well as the derivation of time-optimized measurement plans. As a result, the geometry measurement and characterization of macro-scale areas of regeneration objects, as well as their surface microstructures make a decisive contribution to setup an information base for the whole regeneration process.
