Inhomogeneous spatio-temporal excitation of elementary excitations can be used to study the dynamics of transport phenomena within hybrid nanostructures. In particular, we focus on the theoretical description of(a) the femtosecond excitation transfer on a nanometer scale in metal- semiconductor-hybrid structures, as well as(b) the internal dynamics of compound elementary excitations.
