Aggregation- and Multiscale-Techniques (D05)

Subject Area Image and Language Processing, Computer Graphics and Visualisation, Human Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous and Wearable Computing
Term from 2009 to 2018
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 17546514

Project Description

The long-term goal of this project is the development of efficient methods for computing, representing, processing, and visualizing aggregated particle-oriented data on multiple scales. By aggregation, the gap between particle models and continuous field descriptions is closed in the context of visualization. In particular, this project focuses on rendering and analysis of time-dependent, large, and multivariate data sets as well as the abstraction by network-based representations.
